You don’t necessarily need to be the best cook (although it’s nice ...), but you really just need to have confidence. Many of the members of the Chefpreneur FaceBook group indicated that they feel like they need to have lots of experience in business, but the truth is that you just need basic business skills. Others believe that they haven’t earned their stripes as a “chef.” But you can promote yourself in your own right as a chef. Those are just some of the fears that you have got to overcome in order to build a successful personal chef business.
