The Chefpreneur Podcast

Feb 17, 2019

Chef Andres begins this podcast episode by answering a question from one of his Beta students under the Chefpreneur Program. The question is: “Is it okay to compromise my business brand or standard in lieu of partnership and exposure?”. In having a business, strategic partnership is important but this should not risk diminishing your brand or standards just to please the client. You’ll end up not giving the lasting service and impression that you wanted them to have from you. Listen to this week’s podcast to learn more, but please send any questions you have to info@chefpreneurprogram.com or join the Chefpreneur Movement Facebook Group and post questions there as well.

Chef Andres’ quoted a fellow chef, Thomas Keller, “When you acknowledge, as you must, that there is no such thing as perfect food, only the idea of it, then the real purpose of striving toward perfection becomes clear: to make people happy. That's what cooking is all about.”

Most of the chefs in business nowadays tend to focus on the wrong things such as being perfectionists on how their food looks and tastes, some even under appreciate themselves thinking that this is a way to build their businesses. But what’s more important is to strive for excellence in all aspects of your business to make your clients happy. Starting from how you present your website, on how you communicate with your clients, letting them know what services you can do for them and really listening to their needs. Also, Excellence extends up to the kind of system and process that you are implementing in your business. In the Chefpreneur program, we will guide and coach you in implementing the most effective system that will meet both excellence and profitability. We will also offer free webinars for you to continuously grow and excel in the business.
